Longridge schoolchildren get closer to nature with Taylor Wimpey

Pupils from St Wilfrid’s RC Primary School have recently enjoyed an educational visit to Brockholes nature reserve, thanks to leading homebuilder Taylor Wimpey Manchester.

The 27 children from the school took part in a plants and maps workshop at the award-winning facility, with the whole trip being funded by Taylor Wimpey.

John McHugh, headteacher at St Wilfrid’s, comments: “This was a fantastic day out for the year three children and I know they all had a great time.

“We are always keen to incorporate outdoor learning and being able to bring the lessons to Brockholes really brought the curriculum to life. We’re very grateful to Taylor Wimpey for the generous support.”
