Four Site Managers from our Bristol regional business are celebrating after winning prestigious national house-building awards.
Andy Taylor, James Parkhouse, Robert Barry and Mark Damerell beat off stiff competition from around 15,000 entries to be honoured with NHBC (National House-Building Council) Pride in the Job Quality Awards.
Andy (pictured right) is Site Manager at our Chandos Manor @ Coopers Edge development, James is based at our Wembdon Grange development, Robert works at Jubilee Park and Mark is based at Weavers Gate.
Pride in the Job Quality Awards are presented following a stringent judging process by NHBC inspectors who perform spot checks and continuous assessment of developments throughout the year.
The award recognises the four Site Managers’ dedication to building high-quality homes for new homebuyers and gives purchasers the assurance that our developments provide top-quality properties and excellent customer service.
This year’s win is James’s seventh NHBC (National House-Building Council) Pride in the Job Quality Award, while Andy’s award is his fourteenth win.
Andy said: “I’m delighted to have won a Quality Award – it’s a great honour not just for me but the whole team at Chandos Manor @ Coopers Edge. They all work incredibly hard and take great pride in ensuring that the homes we build are completed to the highest possible standards.
“It’s great to have reached this stage of the competition and to be recognised by the industry in this way.”
Keith Simmons, Managing Director for Taylor Wimpey Bristol, added: “We are committed to maintaining the highest levels of quality and customer service and this has ensured that we continue to be an NHBC award-winning housebuilder year after year.
“The Quality Awards for Andy, James, Robert and Mark are thoroughly deserved.”
Pride in the Job is the only UK-wide awards scheme that recognises the significant contribution of Site Managers who achieve the highest standards in new home construction.
The scheme has been instrumental in raising the build quality of new homes in the UK for over three decades. The regional events take place in the autumn, whilst the Supreme Awards gala final will be held in London in January 2015.
