Pupils from Edisford Primary School in Clitheroe, Lancashire, enjoyed an Easter egg hunt at our Ribble Meadows development in the town.
Our Manchester team invited 30 year two children to the development on Monday 21st March, in the lead up to Easter, to enjoy an outdoor hunt for chocolate eggs which were hidden throughout the trees and green areas.
Alison Knight, year two teacher at Edisford Primary School, says: “This was a lovely gesture by Taylor Wimpey and the children loved it. We walked round to the development and covered quite a bit of ground – it was great to see everyone enjoy the outdoor fun.”
Edisford Primary School is an Ofsted-rated outstanding school based on Edisford Road, just a short distance from Ribble Meadows.
Chloe Dunn, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey Manchester, says: “We are always keen to support the communities where we build our new homes, and we’ve worked with the school on a number of ventures, including Walk to School Month, helping with new furniture and delivering nature lessons.
“This was a nice bit of fun that continued our relationship, making good use of the safe, family-friendly setting of Ribble Meadows.”
Alison concludes: “We would like to thank Taylor Wimpey for the continued support. The children had a fantastic time and we hope to work with the homebuilder again in the not-too-distant future.”
There’s a superb collection of three and four-bedroom homes currently available at Ribble Meadows.
