We helped Pinvin Pre-School raise money for good causes

We helped Pinvin Pre-School in Pershore raise £2,389 for good causes, thanks in part to a £500 donation towards their village summer fayre and masquerade ball.

The events were organised by the staff at the pre-school, which also acts as a not-for-profit children’s charity. Set up to raise funds for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, Stonebow Residential Care Home and the pre-school itself, the masquerade ball on 28th June provided an evening of food, drinks and entertainment for 92 guests to enjoy. The village summer fayre was held on 8th June and and despite the torrential downpour the night before and the morning of, the event went ahead with live entertainment, local stall holders and plenty of fun for children to the heart of Pershore, close to our Plum Tree Walk development.

Hana Malins, Chair at Pinvin Pre-School, said: “We were absolutely delighted when Taylor Wimpey agreed to sponsor both of our summer events which are a huge help, not only for us but also for the charities that we support through fundraising. Thanks to kind donations such as this one from Taylor Wimpey, we managed to raise a fantastic £2,389. Due to the success of the events we are now looking to hold a winter ball on 6th December.”

Anne Wallace, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Midlands, said: “We’re very proud to make this donation to Pinvin Pre-School and contribute to both the summer fayre and the masquerade ball. Making a positive impact on the communities surrounding our developments is very important to us, so it’s great to know that the donation has helped Pinvin Pre-School raise such an impressive amount for two brilliant charities as well as themselves.”
